Foaled # 2003?
Chinchilla Encouragement Draft 2010. 1st Round of Maiden.
" Big Mare" as she is fondly known, was still quite green when I came to own her, however she has done a power of work for me since then. Very quiet, gentle giant. She measures in at 16.2hh, & that is how she got her nickname. Cuts out and tracks a beast well. Apart from the mustering she has done with me, she had 7 weeks cattle work in November-December 2009, away from home.
So she has been ridden and trained mostly by a lady (myself). She didnt buck after 12 months spell. And I have never had any problems with saddling her up, walking her round, getting on and then riding away. She has 2 noticable scars, 1 is on her offside front foot, which travels down the inside of the hoof, this is an old injury and has not affected her in any way. However as a precaution in her best interest, I always work her with Bell Boots on to protect this scar from any further damage. The other scar is on her near side hind hoof, and again, its an old injury that has not affected her in any way.
Her Sire, is owned & campaigned by the accomplised Campdrafter Ray Mayne. Tobey as he known to many, has won and placed in multiple drafts.
It is with great reluctance that I am offering her for sale. However as I am going to Canada this year, I must part with some of my beloved horses.
Chinchilla Encouragement draft 2010. 1st Round of Novice, scored 80.
