Rocking Horse Paint N Performance Stud proudly presents to Australia that horse in the form of Guys First Down Fame.

GENERAL INFORMATION

'Reno' is a stunning palomino stallion bred in the purple as far as Barrel Racing and speed event horses are concerned, and with legends such as Doc Bar, Docs Jack Frost, Three Bars, Driftwood and Joe Reed II - not to mention Frenchmans Guys * Dash Ta Fame in his bloodlines, I have the utmost confidence that his progeny will excel in most any chosen discipline required of them be it Barrel Racing, timed events, reining, cutting, campdrafting, halter or pleasure riding just to name a few.

With access to so many extremely well bred competitive "Studs" today - what sets them apart, what gives them that little bit more that makes you say "that’s the horse for my mare!"?

Temperament, Confirmation, Genetics, Presence, Athletic Ability, Colour & the overall look ~ Reno has all that and much, much more. Like an offered $10,000 paid outright to the owner of the winning progeny by Reno in their first year of competition (terms and conditions apply). And an added $5,000 Incentive for a foal by Reno that wins a nominated Futurity Event.

After searching for a stallion with that WOW factor for some years now, I had a small number of stallions on my list – but not so long ago I came across Reno on the Barrel Horse World website, and he blew them out of the water. I contacted the owner, and we chatted back and forth for a few weeks. Before making the financial commitment, I flew over to Oklahoma on my 6 days off between shifts to look at Reno and the rest is what we could now call history. What you see in the pictures is nothing compared to the horse in the flesh, he oozes presence and an apparent self-confidence as well as all the things I mentioned above. He has a big kind, quiet eye which is another thing I also like in a horse, and for me what sets some apart from others.

We cant wait to introduce him to the public of Australia. Dont forget to check out his page on Facebook to keep up to date with all announcements.
